Over time, the surface had become sticky and tacky due to an incorrect wax application, leaving a gluey finish that attracted dirt and felt unpleasant to use. To restore it properly, we carried out a full table stripping and refurbishment. A professional paint/varnish stripper was applied to break down the old coating, which was then carefully removed. Next, the table was sanded back to a clean, even base and thoroughly decontaminated/sterilised to eliminate any residue that could affect the new finish. Once preparation was complete, we mixed a durable top coat and applied it using a spray gun for a flawless, uniform finish.
